The City of Bend's New Public Transit System Identity Designed By Cira Creative

Today, Cira Creative announced the creation of the identity logo for the

City of Bend's new Bend Area Transit (BAT)

system. On Wednesday, September 27, Bend is launching its first public

mass transportation system and the bus signage, as well as supporting

advertising, transit system maps and bus stop signs, will display the

BAT logo designed by Cira Creative. The official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

for the City is planned for Tuesday, September 26 at 4:00 at Bend City

Hall.

stand out and connect with its audience, said Heather Ornelas, City of

Bend, Transit Manager. "The new BAT logo does

that. The City of Bend appreciates the creative work of Cira Creative

who designed the artwork. The logo is an integral part of our transit

marketing strategy. It sets the tone for our new transit service and

will be used in all marketing materials to effectively communicate and

promote our new service."

The BAT logo is a simple, yet visually appealing design that integrates

the name of the transit system, the BAT acronym and a stylized bat. It

was designed to communicate the friendly, casual personality of the Bend

community.

a logo for the new transit system, I wanted Cira to be a part of this
