Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. Announces Opening of the Sweetwater Processing Facility and Gathering Systems

Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P. (NYSE: APL) (the "Partnership") announces today that its new 120 million cubic feet per day ("Mmcf/d") cryogenic gas processing plant and gathering systems in Beckham County, Oklahoma ("Sweetwater plant") is now operational. The Sweetwater plant is located approximately 30 miles west of the Partnership's Elk City processing plant, and will further access natural gas production actively being developed in western Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. Initially, the Sweetwater plant will have inlet volume of approximately 80 Mmcf/d.

Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P. is active in the transmission, gathering and processing segments of the midstream natural gas industry.
