Amdocs Lands Major Five-Year Managed Services Contract at Vodafone Netherlands

MAASTRICHT, Netherlands and ST. LOUIS, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vodafone Netherlands, one of the largest mobile providers in the Netherlands, and Amdocs , the leading provider of software and services to enable integrated customer management and the intentional customer experience(TM), today announced that Vodafone Netherlands has signed a five- year managed services agreement with Amdocs. Amdocs will assume responsibility for Vodafone Netherlands wholesale and retail billing, provisioning and partner settlement operations. This will allow Vodafone Netherlands to increase its focus on addressing customer needs and on service innovation, while achieving operational cost efficiencies.
Amdocs will help Vodafone Netherlands execute its integrated customer management strategy, enabling the service provider become more agile and aligning its systems around the customer. This will help Vodafone Netherlands deliver superior customer service, reap time-to-market and flexibility advantages for launching new, innovative services and improve the customer experience.

Effective immediately, Amdocs will provide ongoing operations support, application development and maintenance, and helpdesk and trouble ticketing services, all under a clear structured service level agreement (SLA). Amdocs will also provide consulting and training services to support the rollout. This agreement follows successful implementations of Amdocs Billing, Amdocs Partner Manager and Amdocs Document Designer at Vodafone Netherlands and will call for an even closer business collaboration between the two companies.
