Mesa Air Group Announces Schedule and Fares for Grand Island, Nebraska As US Airways Express

PHOENIX, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group today announced the schedule and fares for service at its newest Essential Air Service community, Grand Island, Nebraska. The flights will be operated by Mesa's wholly owned subsidiary Air Midwest and will be operated as US Airways Express. The service will commence on October 29, 2006. Flights will operate from the Grand Island Regional Airport to Omaha Eppley Airfield and Kansas City International Airport. This new service continues to build upon Air Midwest's hub in Kansas City, bringing the total number of destinations served from Kansas City as US Airways Express or Mesa Airlines to 16.

All 3 flights at Grand Island will be nonstop, with two roundtrips to Omaha and one roundtrip to Kansas City. The nonstop flights to Omaha will continue on to Kansas City, allowing one-stop service to Kansas City on two additional flights. The schedule is timed to allow for maximum connectivity.
