Verizon Wireless Customers With V CAST-Enabled Phones Can Now Access V CAST With a Daily Subscription

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, announced today a new daily subscription option for V CAST that offers customers a new way to try V CAST and enjoy mobile video. Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use.
John Harrobin, vice president of digital media for Verizon Wireless, said, "With the new V CAST $3.00 daily pricing option, millions of customers with V CAST-enabled phones can now get music videos, recaps of hit television shows, movie trailers, plus news, sports and entertainment programming and more whenever the urge strikes, making it easier than ever to access the entertainment and information they want while on the go."
Verizon Wireless customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can now access all V CAST has to offer right from their phones without signing up for a $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription to use the service. The V CAST daily pricing option is available on the following phones: MOTOKRZR K1m, Motorola RAZR V3c and V3m, Chocolate (LG VX8500), The V (LG VX9800), LG VX8300 and upgraded VX8100, Samsung SCH-a990, SCH-a930 and upgraded SCH-a850.
Both the monthly and daily subscription choices offer customers unlimited basic video and there are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST video. Application download and content fees apply for 3D games and premium video.
