Energy Solutions Releases GasLoadForecaster 3.0
Energy Solutions International, the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, today announced the release of GasLoadForecaster 3.0(R). GasLoadForecaster V3.0 is a Microsoft.NET(R) application that provides an intuitive user interface and supports multiple databases, including Microsoft SQL Server(TM) and Oracle(TM). The leading neural network product dedicated to the gas market, GasLoadForecaster learns historical patterns to predict future market behavior in order to provide optimum revenue at the lowest cost. It offers capabilities in capacity management, demand forecasting, imbalance management and neural network forecasting.
Other GasLoadForecaster 3.0 features include: improvements in forecasting speed, improved forecast accuracy support for multiple weather vendors and additional variables in the forecasting process, including weather accuracy determination. Users can now enter any economic data they desire as input into the neural network. The product’s forecasts are based upon minimum, maximum and average weather values. In addition, forecast data can be stored as far in advance as there is weather data. GasLoadForecaster interfaces with the advanced hydraulic gas pipeline models available from Energy Solutions.
