Solar EnerTech Corp. Updates Manufacturing Facility Progress

Solar EnerTech Corp. (OTCBB: SOEN) (the Company) wishes to announce that as of November 1st, progress at its solar cell plant in Shanghai has met several vital milestones for its product launch slated for the end of November.

Specialist teams including senior engineers and management through to our technical staff and completion workers are working vigorously to meet each and every deadline for the upcoming production launch. Inside the plant, the floor surface has been treated and covered by a special polymerization process and SZO-4 epoxy self-leveling, anti-static and anti-dust paint providing a bright blue-green veneer across the immense surface area. Solar cell and module manufacturing equipment is being readied and technicians are testing much of the newly installed production equipment while simultaneously cross checking with their counterparts who are attending to the software installation that controls the manufacturing and quality control aspects of the operation.

On the upper levels of the facility the most sensitive and critical components are undergoing installation and testing for their environmental controls essential for cell production. This includes stainless steel "wind shower" devices currently being tested for their automatic sensors which control the "shower" whenever workers pass between less sensitive areas of the facility into the workshop ensuring the production facility is completely free of any kind of particulate debris. Additionally, the workshop housing the diffusion furnaces has been equipped with a set of negative pressure controlled entry doors from the common areas into these extremely sensitive chambers.

Company management is satisfied with current levels of completion and remains confident that the company is on course to begin revenue earnings as early as December of this year. The plant is currently running two parallel shifts with the company project management teams working alongside staggered shifts comprised of the OEM equipment installers provided by the various manufacturers. In related news regarding upcoming manufacturing and sales, Company management states that initial contracts have been signed and arrangements made for required certifications of IEC 61215 for the global market, UL 1703 for US exports and TUeV Class II for Germany.
