Dynegy CEO to Present at Calyon Utilities and Energy Merchant Conference

Bruce A. Williamson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN), will participate in the Calyon Securities Utilities and Energy Merchant Conference in New York City. Williamson's presentation is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. ET/9:45 a.m. CT on Thursday, November 30, 2006.

The presentation will be web cast live, and interested parties may access the presentation slides and audio on the "News & Financials" section of Dynegy's web site at www.dynegy.com. A replay will be available following the posting to the company's web site of a transcript of remarks, and will remain accessible through December 14, 2006.
