MidAmerican Energy Receives Prestigious J.D. Power and Associates 'Founder's Award' for Distinguished Service in the Utility Industry

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- J.D. Power III, founder of J.D. Power and Associates, Thursday evening presented the prestigious Founder's Award to MidAmerican Energy for its commitment to customer service in the utility industry.

Power presented the Founder's Award to MidAmerican Energy Vice President of Quality Assurance David Graham at the 8th annual Platts Global Energy Awards black-tie dinner and awards ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The Founder's Award is a discretionary award, presented at various times by the founder of J.D. Power and Associates, which recognizes individuals or companies demonstrating dedication, commitment and sustained improvement in serving customers. In the 38-year history of J.D. Power and Associates, only 16 companies or individuals have previously received the award.
