VALENCIA, Calif., Dec. 12, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Fire Mountain Beverage Company (Pink Sheets:FBVG) releases a 2006 re-cap designed to chronicle the events that have transpired for the Company over the last 12 months. The year 2006 was an incredible year for the Company and this newsletter is designed to provide investors with some of the Company's successes and to give them a glimpse of the goals and objectives for 2007.
According to Anthony K. Miller, CEO, "2006 began with the branding of our Company name. We did this by promoting our name to a number of high profile events. During the year we sponsored well over 20 different events. These events included track and field, celebrity basketball tournaments, scholarship awareness, rock concerts, jazz concerts, golf tournaments, including one in Jamaica. For example, one of our sponsorships where we conducted sampling and donated over 15,000 bottles of water was with the Los Angeles-Watts Summer games (the largest high school athletic competition in the nation). This event alone lasted two weeks. These events profiled all of our brands and helped us to launch our Five O (2) Oxygenated-Vitamin Flavored Water.
"During 2006 we also created a strategic alliance with a bottling plant. We acquired an ownership position that further established the Company as a bottling firm. The plant has two production lines and has the capacity to produce a wide range of bottled water products including spring, vapor distilled and various flavored purified waters. We also acquired a Marketing firm in 2006 which began to produce significant orders for the Company. One of our goals was to get into the schools market for bottled water products through our manufacturing efforts. In 2006, we shipped over 15 truckloads of products for Los Angeles and Arizona school districts accomplishing this. We obtained orders from various large retail customers where one order encompassed over 18 truckloads.
"During the last two quarters of 2006, we produced well over $1 million dollars in revenue and produced a number of recurring orders that solidifies us as a significant bottling firm. We also declared a shareholders' dividend to all of our shareholders. We have had an incredible year financially as a Company, yet our stock value has not followed the same path (taking a dive on our successes).
"Our goals for 2007 are to continue to build upon the success of 2006 through expanding our sales activities, garnering business from large retailers in the industry, continuing to produce orders for schools and obtaining some international business. We intend to produce millions of dollars in revenue in 2007, based upon the business we currently have. We intend to expand on the manufacturing side of our business through acquiring additional facilities and creating even greater strategic alliances with significant partners to expand our sales. In the new year approaching us, we also intend to launch a number of the Company's products, including energy drinks and an array of new products under the Five O (2) brand while expanding those sales activities simultaneously. Our hope is that we gain the proper exposure in the marketplace as we continue to expand our operations in 2007 which will be more representative of our new Company image. We thank you for your support as we press on."
