Trina Solar Limited Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering on the NYSE

CHANGZHOU, China, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trina Solar Limited ("Trina Solar"), an integrated manufacturer of solar power products based in Changzhou, China, announced today that its initial public offering of 5,300,000 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") has been priced at $18.50 per ADS.

The ADSs, each representing 100 ordinary shares of Trina Solar, will begin trading tomorrow, December 19, 2006, on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "TSL." Trina Solar has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 800,000 ADSs.

Merrill Lynch & Co. was the sole global coordinator and bookrunner, Cowen and Company acted as the joint lead manager, and CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets acted as a co-manager for the offering.

Trina Solar's registration statement relating to these securities was declared effective as of December 18, 2006 by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
