DHL Gets Prime Time Spot At NBC Experience Store

DHL, the world's leading express delivery and logistics company, announced today that it has become the exclusive shipping service for customers in the heart of mid-town Manhattan at the NBC Experience Store in New York City's Rockefeller Center. The new DHL Shipping Spot at the NBC Experience Store is an innovative retail concept that makes DHL's shipping services easily accessible to consumers.
"The NBC Experience Store is about providing superior experiences for our customers," said Judith Dutch, Vice President, Retail Operations and Consumer Marketing, NBC Universal. "With the DHL Shipping Spot, shoppers can easily ship their items to more than 220 countries and territories, avoiding the hassle of carrying them for the rest of their stay in New York."
Just in time for the holidays, the new DHL Shipping Spot installed this month at the NBC Experience Store comprises a self service counter, and user-friendly touch screen interface for the customer to pack, weigh, label and ship their DHL package. DHL provides all necessary packing material for consumer shipments, including packing tape, bubble wrap, and DHL shipping envelopes and boxes.
Visitors at the DHL Shipping Spot at Rockefeller center are welcome to use this service, whether or not they made a purchase at the NBC store. Customers may ship via DHL's domestic express, ground and international services, as well as purchase DHL ShipReady™ products over the counter at the NBC store. ShipReady™ envelopes are the only line of prepaid, flat-rate express delivery products available for consumers and small business customers in the United States.

A joint-marketing campaign to promote DHL's new Shipping Spot at the NBC Experience Store commenced this week, leveraging NBC's Sharp Aquosvision in Times Square, prominent signage at the 49th Street window at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and special in-store promotions.
