Belarus, Russia to Resolve Export Duty Sharing Problem in January – Sidorsky

MINSK. Jan 2 (Interfax-West) – The Belarussian and Russian governments are expected to settle the problem of sharing export duties on light petroleum products before the end of January, Belarussian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky said.

“Instructions will be given to experts tomorrow to draft an agreement on sharing export duties and to submit it to the government in

January,” Sidorsky said at the Minsk airport after his return from Moscow on Monday.

Under an agreement reached in Moscow, Belarus will draft a deal with Russia on sharing export duties on light petroleum products made of Russian crude, the Belarussian prime minister said.
