Storm Could Bring Snow Tonight to Treasure Valley

Jan. 3–Snow could the blanket the Treasure Valley tonight as a strong, moisture-laden Pacific storm system moves through the region.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning effective from 11 a.m. today through 11 a.m. Thursday for the mountains of Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon. Elevations above 5,000 feet could receive 8 to 12 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
