TECO Energy to Host a Webcast February 6

TECO Energy, Inc. (NYSE:TE) today announced that the company will host a Webcast on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at 9:00 AM Eastern Time, concurrent with a conference call with the financial community.

Management will discuss the company’s 2006 results and outlook for 2007.

The company’s fourth quarter and 2006 results, including unaudited income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flow and utility operating statistics, will be released and available on the TECO Energy Web site Tuesday, February 6, 2007, before the market opens and before the call.

Investors, shareholders, media and the public can access the Webcast through a link on TECO Energy’s Web site.

The audio portion of the Webcast and the accompanying slides will be available for replay through a link on the Web site starting approximately two hours after the conclusion of the live event; the replay will be available on the Web site for 30 days following the call.
