Small Business Jet Crashes Near L.A.

LOS ANGELES – A small jet crashed during takeoff from Van Nuys Airport on Friday.
The Cessna Citation crashed on departure from the San Fernando Valley airport, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said. There was no immediate information on deaths or injuries.
The aircraft burned in a field just off the surburban airport. No structures appeared to be involved.
