Republic Airways to Host Recruiting Sessions in the Denver Metro Area As It Launches Plans to Hire More Than 200 Flight Attendants in Preparation for Its 2007-2008 Expansion
Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET) announced today that it will be hosting a series of recruiting sessions in the Denver Metro area as part of its announced plans to grow its flight attendant workforce by more than 200.
All three of Republic’s carriers — Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America — expect to add Flight Attendants thanks to the company’s strong partnerships with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, US Airways, Continental Airlines and beginning in March of this year, Denver based Frontier Airlines. The company’s existing flight attendant workforce of approximately 1,100 is expected to grow to 1,600 by 2008.
Republic Airway’s Republic Airlines subsidiary will have major operations at Denver International Airport when it begins its partnership with Frontier Airlines on March 4, 2007. Republic Airlines will operate 17, seventy-six seat Embraer 170 aircraft for Frontier Airlines when the last aircraft is delivered in December 2008.

Open house recruiting sessions will be held January 18th at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm as well as 10:00 am on January 19th at 10:00 am at The Renaissance Denver Hotel located at 3801 Quebec Street in Denver. Candidates must be 19 years of age with a high school diploma/GED, customer service skills and good communication skills. The three Republic-owned airlines operate a series of flight attendant crew bases at Indianapolis, Louisville, Buffalo, Greensboro, St. Louis, New York LaGuardia, Columbus, Richmond, Chicago O’Hare, Washington Reagan National Airport, Pittsburgh, Orlando and beginning in March Denver, Colorado. New hire flight attendants must be willing to relocate initially to any of these bases, but if eligible, can bid for openings at a preferred base.
