FLYING:Covered from head to toe in protective winter wear, Paul Cassedy, of San Diego, flies a 2-meter kite on the north end of the state Capitol mall on Thursday as part of the To Cross the Moon Expedition. A group of endurance athletes are traveling across North Dakota honing their athletic skills, promoting the winter sport of snowkiting and spreading the awareness of wind energy. As part of a two-week event, Sam Salwei and Jason Magness are on a statewide journey using kites, snow and wind power to ski or snowboard across the state.
