Bridgford Foods Posts Q4 and FY Profit

US convenience food producer, Bridgford Foods Corporation, has posted profit of over $1 million for the fiscal year, ended November 3 2006, compared to a net loss in the prior fiscal year.

The company reported fiscal profit of $1.2 million, compared to a net loss of $943,000 in the prior year. Bridgford Foods also reported an increase in sales of 2.6% to $134.3 million.

Sales for the fourth quarter, also ended November 3, 2006, increased 3.2% to $43 million when compared to the same period a year ago. Net income for the quarter also improved to $1.1 million, compared to a net loss of $340,000 in the prior year quarter.

Bridgford Foods is a producer of frozen dough, microwaveable and shelf-stable sandwiches, dry sausages, processed meats and other convenience food products.
