Angels Flight Board and Community Members Gather at the Station on Hill Street to View Work in Progress As Railway Moves Closer to 2007 Reopening

Members of the board of directors of the nonprofit Angels Flight™ Railway Foundation will provide community and business leaders with a brief update on the significant progress made and the plans for the reopening of the historic Railway at an event on Tuesday, January 23, at 10:00 a.m. The community will see, firsthand, work already completed at the Hill Street Arch and the Station House at the top of the hill. Foundation leaders will describe upgrades underway and give details of the steps remaining until reopening, including the recent signing of contracts for the replacement drive system, thereby setting the stage for the Railway to begin operating later this year.
