Japanese, Uzbek Car Makers Sign Technical Deal

An agreement on technical cooperation has been signed between Japan’s Isuzu Motors and the bus assembling plant in Uzbekistan’s central town of Samarqand, Uzbek TV reported on 22 January.
The report said the plant would assemble two types of buses and new modifications of lorries under a license from the Japanese company. “This year the plant will produce 1,500 buses,” it said.
