MONTREAL (CP) - A passenger bus carrying more than a dozen school children on a ski trip lost control Saturday morning and ended up in a ditch near Quebec's Mont-Tremblant resort.
Police say around 12 children were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the bus is in critical condition and is said to be fighting for his life.
According to authorities, the bus was the only vehicle involved in the accident, and it is not immediately clear what caused the driver to lose control.
Mont-Tremblant, about 130 kilometres north of Montreal, is among the most popular ski resorts in North America.
