DHL to Invest $75 Million in South Korea
February 12, 2007
DHL, the logistics subsidiary of Deutsche Post, has said it will spend up to $75 million at its South Korean facility to expand its operations there.
DHL said the $75 million, which includes the $50 million previously announced by the company in November, will mainly be used to expand DHL’s current facility at Incheon Airport, near Seoul, South Korea.
The German logistics company said it hopes to move its operations to a more modern facility next to the foreign carriers’ terminal at Incheon Airport. DHL claims this new facility will be able to handle 500 tons of cargo per day.
