Biodiesel Trial
February 16, 2007
CHRISTCHURCH — Christchurch buses running on a 5 per cent mix of biodiesel are performing well at the halfway point of a 12-month trial, says the chairman of Environment Canterbury’s public passenger portfolio, Nicky Wagner. Buses on city and out-of-town routes were running equally as well on petrol mixed with vegetable oil or tallow, Wagner said.
