SMA, Largest Solar Power Inverter Manufacturer, Plugs in OneWorld Communications Advertising Agency for North American Marketing

SMA America has signed OneWorld Communications, Inc., San Francisco, as its advertising agency of record for North American operations. The firm’s parent company, SMA Technologie AG, is the world’s largest manufacturer of solar power inverters, electrical devices at the heart of solar power systems using photovoltaic cells.

SMA, headquartered in Niestetal, Germany, has subsidiaries in the USA, the People’s Republic of China, Korea, France, Italy, and Spain, with more than 1200 employees worldwide, and annual revenues in excess of $250 million.

OneWorld Communications will assist SMA to refresh its brand in the USA for its “Sunny” solar inverter products, and create new advertising and public relations programs.
