Gas Leak Forces Evacuation of Homes in Council Bluffs

Feb. 22–Council Bluffs firefighters evacuated homes and businesses in a one-block area near Lake Manawa on Thursday afternoon after receiving reports of a gas leak.
The evacuation occurred near the intersection of Apache and Portland Streets. The gas leak was reported about 3 p.m.
