The Steamship Authority commissions its new `Island Home’ ferry in Vineyard Haven yesterday following its maiden voyage from Woods Hole. The $32 million vessel, which carries 1,200 passengers and 60 vehicles, has amenities such as WiFi access and cell-phone free quiet areas with desks and lamps.
