Ann Arbor IT Zone Continues March Lineup With More Business Improvement Programs

ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Ann Arbor IT Zone continues March programming with Innovators Network, Search Engine Marketing, Marketing Roundtable and the Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione Breakfast Series. All events will be held at SPARK Central, 330 East Liberty Street in downtown Ann Arbor.
March 22 - Innovators Network and the Ann Arbor IT Zone present "Turning Your Innovations into a Successful Business." This seminar features a presentation by Andre Carter, president of Irimi Corporation, a management consulting firm for start-up IT companies. Joining Andre will be Paul F. Welday of Renaissance Strategies and Johathon Zuck, a professional software developer and IT executive. This seminar runs from noon to 2 p.m., and is free for everyone to attend. Join Jim Hume of Phire Branding Company as he leads a panel of experts in a discussion about the importance of branding. The panel will cover how to build a brand for the long term, how a strong brand creates value, how to select and work with an agency, how to effectively and efficiently reach your audience, and the dangers of not investing in your brand. March 29 - GLEQ and Ann Arbor SPARK's Business Accelerator welcome Rick Hendricks and Brian Reed of Wright Griffin and Davis for "Financial Statements - Driving Business Decisions for Start-ups." Entrepreneurs at every stage of the commercialization process will benefit from this discussion of business models and the construction of financial statements including P&L, Income Statements, Balance Sheets and projections. The discussion will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free for everyone to attend.
March 30 - The Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione Breakfast Series. Join L.G. Almeda, an attorney from Chicago-based Brinks Hofer Gilson and Lione, a firm specializing in intellectual property law, for breakfast and discuss "What is Patentable about Your Product or Business." The event will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and is free for everyone.
