BUTLER, N.J., March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- World Gourmet Marketing, LLC, a New Jersey-based food manufacturer, due to increased demand for its products, today announced the expansion of their Sensible Portions(R) brand to now include Multi Grain Crisps and Pita Chips.
As a result of the overwhelming success of the Sensible Portions(R) brand, Costco Wholesale has authorized new shipments beginning with the Multi Grain Crisps in mid-March and the Pita Chips in May.
"Over the last couple of years we have achieved a loyal following of consumers looking for healthier alternatives without sacrificing taste and quality while snacking. We are very excited about the launch of our new Pita Chips and Multi Grain snacks at Costco," said Jason Cohen, President of Sensible Portions(R).
According to the Department of Health & Human Services and Department of Agriculture's Dietary Guidelines for America, 2005, whole grains provide an excellent source of dietary fiber. Sensible Portions(R) Multi Grain Crisps contain three varieties of whole grains including corn, brown rice, and oats. These all-natural, baked crisps have no trans fat, saturated fat, or cholesterol, and are also gluten and wheat-free. Flavors include Apple Cinnamon, Cheddar, Sea Salt, and Tomato Basil.
Sensible Portions(R) Pita Chips are also all-natural, baked - not fried, and have no trans fat, saturated fat, or cholesterol. The full-sized chips are made from fresh pita bread, baked to perfection and seasoned with a delicate balance of flavors. Varieties include Cinnamon Sugar, Parmesan Garlic & Herb, and Sea Salt.
The careful development of these products using the highest-quality and all-natural ingredients results in great-tasting snacks in portions that are both sensible and satisfying. According to consumer response received on the Sensible Portions(R) Web site, those who have tried their products find it easier to maintain their active lifestyle and feel good about what they are eating. With plans to expand beyond snack offerings, Sensible Portions(R) invites consumers to continually check local stores for new products.
