Verizon Wireless has purchased the operating assets of West Virginia Wireless for an undisclosed cash price. The purchase by the Basking Ridge-based wireless voice and data company includes West Virginia Wireless’ spectrum licenses and related operations. The acquired licenses cover a population of 1.2 million people in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia. AlJ West Virginia Wireless workers have been offered jobs, according to Verizon, and all store locations will remain open.
