Nigeria Denies Reports It Ordered Airlines Not to Carry Vice- President-Atiku

The federal government has describes as untrue a recent statement by the Atiku campaign organization that airlines had been ordered not allow the AC [Action Congress] presidential candidate to charter planes.

A statement in Abuja from the office of the minister of state, air transportation said it was sad for a group claiming have a serious-minded person as flag-bearer to be playing politics with issues such as air travels. The statement emphasized that name- calling and insults on the minister of state will not make him lose focus. He called on the Atiku campaign organization to sort out its problem with private airlines.
