Russian Mine Death Toll Reaches 71

Kemerovo, 19 March: According to the latest information, 71 miners were killed as a result of an accident at the Ulyanovskaya mine in Kemerovo Region, Interfax has been told at the Siberian regional centre of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
“The bodies of 71 miners have been found,” Vladimir Berdnikov, head of the Siberian regional centre of the Russian Emergencies ministry told Interfax.
