Nucor Team Earns 2007 Investment Community Recognition
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Nucor Corporation announced that Institutional Investor magazine has included Nucor in its 2007 list of “America’s Most Shareholder Friendly Companies.” The poll of investment portfolio managers and brokerage firm research analysts ranked Nucor as number one in the metals and mining industry. Nucor also achieved this recognition in the magazine’s inaugural poll of the most shareholder friendly U.S. companies published in 2006.
Additionally, the January 2007 issue of Institutional Investor recognized Nucor’s management team as number one in the metals and mining industry in its annual list of “America’s Best CEOs.” Nucor’s management team has received this honor for three consecutive years.
