Sun Country Airlines Will Add Two New Boeing 737-800's to Their Fleet

Sun Country Airlines announced today that the airline has completed negotiations for the delivery of two new Boeing 737-800's next generation aircrafts. The new planes will arrive July/August of 2007 and will feature Sun Country's signature two-class cabin configuration with large leather seating and modern technical and safety equipment.
"Our new aircraft symbolize the continued expansion of our highly reliable 737-800 fleet," said Shaun Nugent, CEO of Sun Country. "They are a key component to our business plan and our noticeably different airline experience."

Sun Country Airlines was purchased by Petters Group Worldwide in October of 2006. The airline will continue its development of a strong consumer product that is focused on convenient service at a good value.
Sun Country Airlines is a low cost; point-to-point carrier based in St. Paul, MN and was recently acquired by Petters Group Worldwide and Whitebox Advisors. The airline was named to the top 10 lists of domestic airlines in Travel+Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler. Sun Country is following a conservative growth plan which will increase the frequency to its popular destinations such as New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco, Orlando, Ft.
