Bancorp Rhode Island, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2007 Earnings Release Date, Conference Call and Webcast

Bancorp Rhode Island, Inc. (NASDAQ: BARI) announced today that it will release its first quarter 2007 earnings on Thursday, April 26, 2007. The Company will host a conference call at 10 a.m. EST later that morning to discuss these results.

Merrill W. Sherman, president and chief executive officer, will host the teleconference. She will be joined by Linda H. Simmons, chief financial officer and treasurer. The conference call can be accessed by dialing toll free (888) 868-9079, or via webcast at www.bankri.com. Please dial in at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the call to ensure a timely connection.
