Occi Seminar

According to Oman News: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) held a seminar on trade opportunities in the Ukraine and promotion forum on economic integration for Eastern Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council due to be held in the Sultanate in 2008. A number of working papers were presented during the seminar. The first one dealt with economic and investment developments in the Ukrainian economy, available investment opportunities in various sectors including agriculture, mining and food industries and facilities and incentives the Ukraine is expected to offer to investors. The second paper dealt with a forum on economic integration for Eastern Europe and the GCC states which the Sultanate will host in 2008. It aims to highlight investment opportunities and partnership between the GCC and Eastern European countries, enhance trade exchange and investment, establish joint ventures and attract investments.
