Bath Bus Switch Baffles City Sightseers

Tourists must have wondered which historic city they were visiting when a ‘Bath’ sightseeing tour bus pulled up outside Cardiff Castle.

The double-decker with Bath City Sightseeing Tours written in red and yellow on the side, drew stares from puzzled onlookers as it set off on a tour around Cardiff’s famous landmarks, including City Hall.

Tracey Trew, branch manager for City Sightseeing Tours in Cardiff, said the bus had been brought in as a replacement while the city’s dedicated 79-seat vehicle undergoes an MOT.

‘We have brought this bus over from our Bath depot until the Cardiff bus returns on Thursday.’
