Apr. 19–The Highway Patrol issued a Sig-alert after several vehicles were involved in a crash on westbound Interstate 580 this morning.
The 5:40 a.m. crash blocked two left-hand lanes of westbound Interstate 580 just west of Carrol Road, east of North Flynn Road. The alert was issued at 5:44 a.m.
At least one person was trapped inside a vehicle, and fire and ambulance crews were heading to the site.
