RouteMatch Software Acquires NaviTrans, Division of Laidlaw Transit Services

RouteMatch Software, Inc. today announced it has completed an agreement to acquire NaviTrans, a division of Laidlaw Transit Services. As part of the agreement, RouteMatch Software will hire all former NaviTrans employees and begin supporting all NaviTrans customers representing medium to large transportation providers across the country.

"Through this merger, RouteMatch will be adding a number of exceptional transit technology professionals to our team. We will also benefit from a great number of ideas and innovations that have been developed by NaviTrans for fixed-route and paratransit providers. Current NaviTrans employees will continue to work out of a RouteMatch office based in Kansas City, Missouri. "The plan is to have the former NaviTrans team become the operations division for RouteMatch Software," added Wade. Much of our efforts at Laidlaw Transit Services were in this arena, so we are very pleased that we can continue initiatives that we started with Laidlaw."

After the merger, relevant features from the NaviTrans Navigator product will be integrated with RouteMatch's family of software solutions. NaviTrans customers will now be able to take advantage of RouteMatch's full line of customer support and customer care programs including free Webinars, user group meetings, an online chat forum for customers, online training sessions and the highly anticipated annual user conference.
