Mersey Ferries at New Landing Stage

Repost This

MERSEY ferries services were today back to normal after a new landing stage was installed at the Pier Head over the weekend.

Services had been moved temporarily to the nearby Isle of Man Steam Packet berth after the original stage sank in rough weather in March last year.

But the move of the ticket office back to the Pier Head ferry terminal will be temporary, as plans are under way to demolish the ticket office and replace it with a new pounds 10m ferry terminal building.

A temporary ticket office will operate from June from Canada Boulevard when the demolition and construction works begin.
