Kenyan airline, Kenya Airways, has released names and nationalities of crew members and passengers aboard its missing flight.

The airline’s chief executive officer, Mr Titus Naikuni, said the list of names had been given to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for distribution to the various embassies.

“I think we are now in a position where we would like to announce a few details and we’re starting in by giving the names of the crew members who were on board Flight KQ 507 from Douala to Nairobi and we give this information after having consulted the next of kin,” he told journalists during a press briefing in Nairobi today morning.

“We are now in a position to provide the full list of names and nationalities of passengers who boarded KQ 507 in Douala and Abidjan. There’s only one amendment in terms of the nationalities. The amendment is that we’ve included a Korean national who was mistakenly identified as a Chinese, so the Chinese number is reduced by one and we’ve an additional number of a Korean. The complete list is attached in our press statement which we’ll provide to you, so I don’t have to read the whole list because it’s quite long,” he added.
