Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation Names New Vice President of Employee and Labor Relations

APPLETON, Wis., May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC) today announced that it has hired Joel Kuplack as Vice President of Employee and Labor Relations. Kuplack is currently Vice President of Human Resources at Comair, Inc., a regional airline headquartered in Erlanger, KY.

Kuplack began his career at Comair in 1999 as General Manager of Employee Services, subsequently serving as Director of Inflight Services, Director of Underwing Operations and Vice President of Inflight Services. In 2005 he moved into his most recent position where his responsibilities encompass all aspects of human resources and labor relations for the airline.
Kuplack said, "I am pleased to be joining the leadership team at Air Wisconsin, and am looking forward to supporting the success of the airline and its people."
Before joining Comair, Kuplack spent 14 years at America West Airlines where he served as reservation agent, flight attendant, and gate and ticket agent, as well as in operations and on the ramp. He advanced through various supervisory and managerial positions in Customer Service and Human Resources, and became Employee Relations Manager in 1997.
Kuplack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He, along with his wife and four children, will be relocating to the Appleton area. Kuplack will assume his new position June 5, 2007.
AWAC operates as US Airways Express scheduling nearly 500 departures per day to 70 cities in 27 states and two Canadian provinces. It has a fleet of 70 Canadair Regional Jets and is the largest privately held regional airline in the United States.
