Revised Agreement Reached Between Investrend Research and Cronus Capital Markets

Posted on: Thursday, 17 May 2007, 09:00 CDT

(Investrend Research Syndicate) Eleven independent research coverages commissioned by Cronus Capital Markets (CCM), which were previously being facilitated by Investrend Research, will now be seamlessly picked up and carried forward by CCM's newly-established research arm, according to an amicably-reached, revised working agreement between CCM and Investrend.

Based on assurances that CCM will continue the research projects according to the standards and practices applied by Investrend thus far, and in the interest of serving shareholders without incident or interruption, Investrend has agreed to hand-over the coverages to CCM.

The formerly Investrend-covered companies being transitioned to CCM are: Starpharma Holdings (OTC: SPHRY), Document Security Systems (AMEX: DMC), Liberty Mines (CDNX: LBE.V), Eagle Plains Resources (CDNX: EPL.V), Xemplar Energy Corp (CDNX: XE.V), Cooper Minerals (CDNX: CQ.V), Cream Minerals (CDNX: CMA.V), Groen Brothers Aviation (OTCBB: GNBA), Phonetime (CDNX: PHD.V), Smartcool Systems (CDNX: SSC.V) and E-Energy Ventures (CDNX: EEV.V).

Additional aspects of the CCM-Investrend agreement include certain continued distribution collaborations as well as mutually-supporting initiatives related to certain Sector coverages.

Both Michael Soni (President and CEO of CCM) and Todd Essary (President and CEO of Investrend) have expressed clearly positive sentiments regarding their long-standing, past business relationship, as well as continued optimism toward present and future synergies.

Investrend Research subscribes to the exacting "Standards for Independent Research Providers" at http://www.firstresearchconsortium.com, as well as the CFA-NIRI Guidelines at http://www.cfainstitute.org. Investrend's Research platform is also executed in accordance with Guidance set forth by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies at http://www.sec.gov/info/smallbus/acspc/acspc-finalreport_d.pdf.
