The geometry of the Gen3sys drilling system improves chip formation, increases penetration rates and extends tool life, the company says. Equipped with the company’s AM200 coating, the drills are available in two types of custom carbide. Holders are available with straight and helical flutes, and both styles come with flanged shanks.

Another line of tools, the T-A drilling system, allows 32-to-1 depth-to-diameter drilling. The drills are available in diameters ranging from 3/8” (9.5 mm) to 4” (114 mm). Inserts are available in seven types of HSS or carbide grades with various coatings. The drilling line includes holders for the structural-steel industry and T-A standard holders for deep-hole drilling.

The company also offers a variety of thread milling tools, including the AccuThread 856. This helically fluted, solid carbide threading system incorporates the company’s AM210 coating for increased penetration rates and extended tool life. Other products available from the company include the ASC 320 solid carbide high performance drill, Alvan expandable reamers and the EcoCut tooling line.
