Chisinau Insists on Prompt Resumption of “5+2″ Talks
Chisinau. May 18 (Interfax) – All decisions in the process of political settlement of the Transdniestrian conflict should be taken within the “5+2″ format, Moldovan Reintegration Minister Vasily Sova said at a meeting with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Goran Lennmarker on Thursday.
The 5+2 format brings together Moldova, Transdniestria, Russia, Ukraine, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, with the U.S. and the EU holding observer status
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly supports Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, Lennmarker said.
