PacWind Signs Brand License Agreement With Living With Ed
PacWind, Inc. has signed a long-term exclusive brand license / endorsement agreement with the producers of the hit TV series Living with Ed and it’s co-star Ed Begley Jr. Under terms of the agreement, PacWind will use the trademark of the show and the endorsement of Begley to market its line of revolutionary Vertical Axis Wind Turbines throughout North America. Begley will also take a seat on the PacWind board of directors, where he will contribute his vast experience in applied residential clean energy generation to the company’s long term strategies.
PacWind has invented, engineered, and is in full production on an innovative line of vertical axis wind turbines that can be installed nearly anywhere! Unlike conventional propellers, the PacWind vertical turbines operate in very low winds and are also completely silent, stable and safe in winds up to 100+ mph. They are economical, efficient, maintenance-free, aesthetically pleasing and bird friendly. They can be installed residentially, commercially, or industrially and have made urban wind power a true reality!

I have been involved with clean wind energy since the mid-1980s when I purchased part ownership in a windmill in the California desert. My dream has always been to bring wind power from remote parts of the state into the cities and urban centers where we can all make clean power using the wind. Vertical axis wind turbines from PacWind are the realization of that dream.”
The marketing relationship will be launched with the creation of a series of print, video and on-line materials featuring Living with Ed branding and Ed Begley Jr. endorsements. In addition, Begley will appear at the upcoming American Wind Energy Association national convention on June 3-4 in Los Angeles on behalf of PacWind. In the near future, Begley will install a PacWind ‘Seahawk’ VAWT at his home in Studio City, CA to contribute additional power to his already existing solar system. Begley and PacWind also have plans to do numerous other ‘high-profile’ installs throughout Southern California in 2007 and will be attending expos and conventions to release their innovative new products nationwide.
