MEDIA ADVISORY: LA/Palmdale Regional Airport Opens to United Airlines Service to San Francisco and Points Beyond

 WHAT:     Los Angeles and Palmdale city officials, Los Angeles World           Airports (LAWA) and United Airlines will hold a press conference           and special dedication ceremony at LA/Palmdale Regional Airport           (PMD) to signal the start of regularly scheduled air service to           San Francisco with connecting flights to over 160 worldwide           destinations. WHO:      Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, City of Los Angeles Mayor           Jim Ledford, City of Palmdale Mayor           Mike Antonovich, Los Angeles County Supervisor           Bill Rosendahl, Los Angeles City Councilmember and Chair of the           Southern California Regional Airport Authority           Alan Rothenberg, President, Los Angeles Board of Airport           Commissioners           Gina Marie Lindsey, Los Angeles World Airports Executive Director           Bill Norman, Senior Vice President, United Airlines WHEN:     Thursday, June 7           9:00 a.m. WHERE:    LA/PALMDALE REGIONAL AIRPORT           41000 N. 20th Street East           Palmdale, CA 93550 VISUALS:  1. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Palmdale Mayor Jim              Ledford will welcome arriving United Express flight carrying              first passengers from San Francisco.           2.
