By Chad Previch, The Daily Oklahoman
Jun. 4–TULSA — Fourteen railroad cars derailed this morning in downtown Tulsa, a spokesman for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway said.
There were no injuries and no type of spill when the derailment occurred about 2:30 a.m., spokesman Joe Faust said. The train was headed for Tulsa from Memphis, Tenn.
A railroad services company, R.J. Corman Railroad Group, will help Burlington with the derailment, Faust said.
The train’s cargo was not immediately known.
