Media Advisory: Duke Energy Executives to Participate at Second Annual Citi Power, Gas and Utilities Conference

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- James E. Rogers, Duke Energy chairman, president and chief executive officer, and David L. Hauser, group executive and chief financial officer, will each participate in two panel discussions at the second annual Citi Power, Gas and Utilities Conference Thursday and Friday, June 7-8, at the Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, S.C.

On Thursday, Rogers will participate in the panel discussion, "Value Creation Strategies in a Balkanized Environment," which is expected to start at approximately 7:45 a.m. ET. At approximately 10:15 a.m. ET, he will be part of a panel discussion on "Carbon Limits Are Coming: How, When, the Impact?"
Hauser will participate in the panel discussion, "Tightening Power Markets: Near Term Impacts, Long Term Solutions," Thursday at approximately 8:45 a.m. ET. On Friday, Hauser will be part of a panel discussion on "Nuclear: The New Growth Story?" at approximately 10:15 a.m. ET.
