Everton Energy Selects R.J. O'Brien for Risk Management Services

Everton Energy, LLC announced today that it has selected R.J. O'Brien and Associates, Inc. (RJO), as a strategic partner in implementing its risk management program. Everton Energy is in the business of developing and acquiring renewable energy production and is initially focused on ethanol plants. RJO is the nation's largest independent futures brokerage firm. The announcement was made by Bert Farrish, Everton Energy's president and CEO.

Everton's first plant will be a 110 million gallon per year ethanol plant located near Concordia, Kansas. Construction of the Concordia plant is scheduled to begin in October, 2007. Everton plans to build or acquire additional plants over time. These plants could be in major corn production areas or "destination" plants near major ethanol consumption areas. Everton is also examining developing other bioenergy projects.
